<P><FONT SIZE=3D2>Thank you guys for all of your assistance. I =
have finally figured out that I was having a timing issue with an =
update to the database. The reason why it worked everywhere else =
is because I was using entries that were already in the database to run =
the test but when I was creating documents new there was not enough =
time for the database update before I did my select statement. I =
have learned my lesson. Thanks.</FONT></P>

sp; Hello Arnound,</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; I have checked the binding from the event =
container to the</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>task and it seems</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=

my problem lies in the</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>binding from</FONT>
<BR><FONT =

successful result</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>when I generate the</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=

method works fine if I</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>generate the</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=

raised as a result</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>of the document</FONT>
<BR><FONT =

</P>
<P><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; To give you a little more background on my =
problem, I will</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>tell you that I</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=

<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>to FM</FONT>
<BR><FONT =

life of me I don't</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>understand why it</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; does not work when the task is triggered =
automatically. The</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>end result of</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; the call to this function should be that a =
work item gets</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>created and so far</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; the method always creates a work item =
except for when I need</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>it to. Even if</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; I just go to SE37 and test the function =
module by putting in</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>the same</FONT>
<BR><FONT =

perfectly and</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>creates a work item.</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; This is one reason why I am not certain =
that my problem is</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>container related</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=

sp; Hi All,</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; I hope that this is a really simple =
problem. I have a</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>method that I created</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; for a business object. The method is =
executed in the</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>background via a task</FONT>
<BR><FONT =

I execute the method</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>either from the</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=

transaction SWUH - Test</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>Method it works</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; fine. Even when I simulate the event =
(SWU0) that triggers</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>the task, the</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; method works fine. Even when I start =
the task via SWUS -</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>Start Task the</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; method works fine. However, when I =
process a document which</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>raises the</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; event the method does not run fine. I =
can see in the event</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>log that the</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
SIZE=3D2> &nb=
sp; task was started but the method is not run =
the same as it</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>did when I do it</FONT>
<BR><FONT =
