<P>We are just kicking off a project to link up SAP inbox with external mails coming in over the internet. The external mail coming into SAP will have an attachment which will hold some data. Once it gets into the inbox of the person, he will trigger a Yes / No workflow process from this mail. If it is a Yes, then the workflow should kick off a BDC to update a HR transaction based off data from the attachment. </P>
<P>We are trying to identify the possible solutions and some of the issues we are looking at are:</P>
<P>Is it possible to send mail into SAP from internet - How should this email be addressed so that it reaches the SAP User?</P>
<P>Possible ways of linking up so that the internet mail reaches the SAP Inbox.</P>
<P>Is it possible to grab the data from the attachment after it reaches the Inbox for use in the BDC? (At this stage, we are not sure what kind of attachment to use - Word / Excel / I think Outlook provides some SAP forms)</P>
