Raj, If you want someone to be notified of a workitem they need to action,

it's a sapoffice user, set the workitem priority to 1 in the workflow
step. That makes it an "express" workitem.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

it's an email address to be notified, set up program RSWUWFML to run
periodically, or you can get into SAPMAPI but that's</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

larger discussion. </SPAN></FONT></DIV>

However, I have yet another issue i.e., I want the approver of the
Req to be notified of the workitem when it gets to the inbox for the first
time. The Std. Pur.Req "Create' event is not doing this and nor do I want to
copy and customize it. Is there any way I can do it or am I missing something
in the Config?</FONT></DIV>
