Workflow probelm in Prod

Hi,
     We are into ECC6.We have problem in PO release.Its working fine in DEV.In PROD it was running fine but past from 2 days its not triggering mail to the concerned persons inbox(SBWP).So please guide me what exactly I need to follow the steps because its in PROD and need to be cautious.
