(RESOLVED)
Sorry, I posted my 'expanded' version with details minutes later. But, I
have been having problems
getting my posts to the list. Don't know why, but anytime I put anyone
else in the To: that is not the SAP list,
it won't post!
But, thanks for pointing this out me... Mike! Hope I can return the
favor. lol
Anyway, the below OSS note is spot on. We are a few patches behind.
Issue resolved.

Subject: Modeled deadline Task: Getting SWW_WI_ERROR_MESSAGE_SEND_S
&SWW_WI_DEADLINE_CALLBACK in prod
Issue - WF errors: Note 1079021 - RSWWERRE creates unnecessary tRFC
entries
Deadline task with > 600 secs wait time.
We are getting errors msgs sent to WF admin even though the event should
not have triggered. Yet!
I see SWW_WI_ERROR_MESSAGE_SEND_S in the wf log and a msg is sent to WF
Admin well before the deadline.
I am also getting SWW_WI_DEADLINE_CALLBACK when the DL is actually
reached.
The DL waits for the date/time and apparently works fine. (except for
the error msg sent to admin!)
We did not get these in Dev and Q. I have no notifications on the task
or anything I can think of that would cause and issue.
(Reason: In Dev / Q, date & time was not gt 5 minutes for testing...)
The above note apparently will correct this issue.

The work item "BG Wait for Latest End - Lock Step" (ID 000173001211) of
type B has the status STARTED.
Initiate a correction measure so that the respective workflow (ID
000173001209) can be continued.
