Update termination while system status update in order

hi!
 
 I am receiving this in my development system for 4.6c. We are in the
process of upgrading from 3.1H to 4.6C.
 
The update termination happens in any transaction(IW31/IW31/IP10/IP30
ETC.) when the maintenance order system status is changed or created.
This does not allow creation of order or system status change-even Final
confirmation update terminates.
 
While checking the update record error(update was terminated) is seen in
function module "SWE_EVENTS_CREATE_STATUS_IN_V1"
 
 The corresponding ABAP dump is attached here. I suspect some workflow
settings or other parameters are causing this.
 
I am talking to SAP AG but no answer since a long time.
 
Please guide.
