Hi,
I succesfully created a WF-XML-scenario from a SAP to a non
SAP-Workflowengine.
The scenario works fine when the two partners are within the same =
domain. If
one partner is within another domain it goes into an error.
Testing the FM HTTP_POST I get an error
"Connect to Host HOST.COM Port 80 error: NIECONN_REFUSED"
Any ideas for the settings I can change that the connection is =
running??
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards
Christian

Hi Christian,=20
Messsage NIHOST-UNKNOW let me assume that you have a Problem with the
name-resolution.
You can try to maintain the Hostname and IP in the host-table-file of =
the
servers.

Heinz

Hi Alan,
thanks for the information.
The URL exists and I can access it by entering it in the browser.
I have tested the FM http_post without any success. I get the message
"NiHostToAddr proxy error: NIEHOST_UNKNOWN"
Also when I copy your FM ZHTTP_PROXY_CONFIG and modify it not to use a =
proxy
I get the error "Connect to Host PC110.PWTZ.PWINT.COM Port 80 error:
NIECONN_REFUSED"=20
Has there to be customized s.th. according the proxy-settings in SAP?
(In the internet-settings of the explorer there is no proxy used to =
enter
the www.)
What is the problem when there is a firewall between?
Regards
Christian

Christian,

The wizard is used to generate the URL for SAP systems to make it =
easier
when used within SAP environments. If you are using a remote non-SAP =
system
then just type in the URL of this remote service directly without the
wizard.
The 400 message is a generic http message which typically occurs when
http-ing a non-existent address or when security prevents the message =
from
getting through a firewall.

Betreff: WF-XML scenario SAP-non SAP system
Hi*
I set up a scenario between a SAP-Workflow on SAP/R3 4.7 and another
WF-engine which supports the WF-XML interface.
Wen the systems tries to send the XML-File I get the error HTTP Method =
POST
cannot be executed. Status code 400 with the text =
ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED
I also do not get a response from the other system and also debugging =
the
system says that there has not been a http request at this system.
Also in the web-step of the workflow within the wizard it is only =
possible
to customize an URL linked to another SAP-System (WAS or ITS).
>From my point of view it should be possible to start a WF on another =
engine
supporting the WF-XML interface? Any ideas what here may be the problem =
when
the HTTP method POST cannot be executed??
Kind regards
Christian
