Assigning multiple users to positions

Hi Fred:
In general I have found that assigning jobs or security roles to tasks or
task groups gives the most flexibility for organization changes.
>From a pure workflow organization point of view, assigning multiple users
to a position can work without any real impact.
If you are planning on using the same org for HR later on, and you want
to minimize rework, then your approach of using jobs with one position per
user is a better, more HR- friendly approach. And as you stated, that
approach will still allow for the assignment of more than one part timer to
the same position.

Subject: Assigning multiple users to positions
Hello workflow colleagues,
Can someone tell me what are the disadvantages of assigning multiple
users to the same position, in order to achieve that all users assigned
to the position recieve the same workitem? At the moment we only use the
organizational plan for workflow purposes, can it be a problem if we
will use it in the future for HR purposes?
Should I assign one person to a position (in case of parttimers maybe
more than one) and use jobs to achieve what I want?
Regards,
Fred Kouw
