Work Center as Agent

We use work centers.  I cannot give you the technical information.  However,
I can tell you that we set up users within the work center (i.e. Accounts
Payable, Grants, etc.) by position numbers.  If an individual in the work
center executes the document, their name is attached to the document.

Good morning all!!  Has anyone ever used a work center as an agent to
notify/send a work item to.  How does this work exactly?  What inbox does it
go to and if it is a general inbox, how is it accessed and does the work
item retain the name of the person executing the email or is this
functionality lost and only the work center retained??  Any insight here
would be greatly appreciated.
