sm58 'Transaction recorded' status

Hi Thad,
Check that no-one has changed the password on WF-BATCH.
Usually errors only appear on SM58 if this has happened.
Another possible cause is if you have a background method that uses
batch input, and it is trying to process a screen in dialog using
a background user, e.g. if your batch input is missing a screen
for some reason. Another great reason to use BAPIs instead of batch
input of course...
Transaction recorded isn't anything sinister, it just means it is
holding the details of what was attempted so that it can be rerun if need be.

Subject: sm58 'Transaction recorded' status

Dear Workflowers:

I have noticed that there is a lot of entries in the sm58 transaction. They
look more or less as follows:

WF-BATCH SWW_WI_EXECUTE_INTERNAL_RFC WORKFLOW_LOCA 08/06/2002
10:52:23 Transaction recorded
WF-BATCH SWW_WI_EXECUTE_INTERNAL_RFC WORKFLOW_LOCA 08/06/2002
10:52:23 Transaction recorded
WF-BATCH SWW_WI_EXECUTE_INTERNAL_RFC WORKFLOW_LOCA 08/06/2002
10:52:23 Transaction recorded
PA374CA SWW_EI_EVENT_RECEIVE_IBF WORKFLOW_LOCA 08/06/2002
12:24:47 Transaction recorded
JE502DU SWW_EI_EVENT_RECEIVE_IBF WORKFLOW_LOCA 08/06/2002
12:26:55 Transaction recorded

Normally, I would expect to see no entries there, or disapearing ones. Can
anyone tell me what is going on? This situation seems
to have an adverse impact on our EBP approval process. What does
'Transaction recorded' mean?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Thad
