Dear Purple Blurbers,

We are having a good semester of Renderings meetings; I encourage anyone
who is interested in this translation project to get in touch. Our
meetings are public, but we have been preparing by reading some of the
work that our guest translator has done, so please let me know if you'd
like to attend so I can get that work to you. Our schedule is here:

On Wednesday I'll be reading from my new book of programs & poems, #!
(pronounced "Shebang"). This is actually only the second solo reading I've
done at MIT, and I'm very pleased that the List Visual Arts Center is
sponsoring it.

Here's some about the book, #!:

My reading will be in the atrium of the "Old Media Lab," aka the Wiesner
Building, aka MIT's building E15.

The event begins at 6:30pm.

I'll show some of the concrete & conceptual poetry on the screen, discuss
the book, and read some of the nicer-sounding output of some of the
programs aloud.

I hope to see you there.

  -Nick
