Dear Purple Blurbers, the second event of the semester is coming up on
Monday -- a performance and discussion of Russian multimedia poetry by
Natalia Fedorova. I hope you can join us!

Monday, October 24 at 5:30pm in 14e-310

for a presentation and performance by

Natalia Fedorova

Visiting Fulbright Fellow, MIT, The Trope Tank

This presentation will combine discussions of contemporary Russian
multimedia poetry with a live reading and performance supported by sound
designer Taras Mashtalir.

In addition, the audience will be invited to participate in a collective
writing piece.

Natalia Fedorova’s work includes an interactive novel, Madame Ebaressa and
a Butterfly, co-written with Sergeij Kitov; "7", a hyper fiction piece
with three possible endings; "Dialogue between a Policeman and a
Ballerina," a video installation with the Factory of Found Clothes; and
two poetry films, "Snow Queen" and "Just do not not do it." She is also
the founder and curator of VIDE0.txt, a poetry film festival in
St-Petersburg, Russia and the co-curator of SELF-ID.com—a digital
publishing portal.
