[OWW-SC] all research proposals submitted to BBSRC from 26April2007 must now include a statement on data sharing.

Great.

I think we are aiming for a culture shift in the biological sciences.
Reshma, your story is all too familiar here at Brown.

I suggest "Science 2.0" or "Open Science" as a conference title, it might
be something that the community developer would be interested in organising.
If MIT could host it, then I would not be surprised if the BBSRC would be
interested in funding Mattias and James to travel here and also sponsoring
the conference in general.

I paste below, and on the wiki:
http://openwetware.org/wiki/Science_2.0_/_Open_Science_conference
some rough ideas that Mac and I had on this earlier this year. At that
time we were thinking of mid-Aug, but this may be too ambitious to have it
so soon.

cheers,
John
