Very active week for Nature.  In addition to Charkin, CEO of Macmillan
Nature Publishing Group, stealing Google laptops at the bookexpo in an odd
protest of Google's efforts to put information online without asking (so he
stole laptops without asking), they also launched a new preprint archive
called Nature Precedings.
