Over the past decade, the nitrogen vacancy color center in diamond has emerged as a stable and bright emitter for imaging and precision sensing. The first part of this talk will discuss the fabrication of diamond nanocrystals with high-quality NV centers.
In the second part, I will focus on the use of such probes in imaging and sensing, focusing on wide-field super-resolution microscopy and recent progress towards high-speed detection of electrical activity in neurons. </span></font></div>
