Additionally, <a href="http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1432">iOS 4.2.10</a> was released for the CDMA (Verizon) iPhone 4. </div><div><br></div><div>The importance of this update is that it addressed a security vulnerability with certificate validation found in the previous version of iOS. According to Apple, the exploit could allow "an attacker with a privileged network position may capture or modify data in sessions protected by SSL/TLS." A summary of the update can be found under <a href="http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4824">Apple Support Article HT4824</a>. </div><div><br></div><div>We recommend that ALL users that are using one of the above listed iOS devices, update their devices via <a href="http://www.apple.com/itunes/">iTunes</a> (available on both PC and Mac).
