Update version 4.0.1 refines the patch released on June 28, 2010 – a workaround to address Exchange synchronization issues. (Some users reported that after updating to iOS 4, they were unable to view their Exchange calendars on their iPhones.)</div><div><br></div><div>IS&T has tested this new update on various iPhone models, including the iPhone 3G, 3GS, and iPhone 4, and has found that it does address synchronization issues that were experienced by some community members. IS&T recommends that all iPhone users upgrade to this latest version of iOS 4. </div><div><br></div><div>Users who applied the iOS 4 patch should remove it before updating to iOS 4.0.1. You can do this by tapping <b>Settings > General > Profile > EAS Default Task Timeout > Remove. </b>After removing the patch, you can update your iPhone to iOS 4.0.1 via iTunes.</div><div><br></div><div><b>Email Issues?</b></div><div>Some users have reported that email was not functional after installing the iPhone iOS 4 update.
