<div>The site was launched today, June 30, 2003 at 1:30PM Eastern
time. Please change your bookmarks and any internal links.
All pages will have redirect page so that you can easily find specific
pages.</div>

<div>There are many improvements to the site. We have taken in
your helpful comments and suggestions and incorporated many of them
into the new design. The functionality of the site is greatly
improved, and it features a cleaner, brighter design. While we
retained the original logo, we've put it in a new environment.
All of the content is now searchable in a data base. </div>

<li>Search on "any word" and find the video.
<li>Search on a broad list of "categories"
<li>Search on MIT Host. Hosts are the departments, labs,
centers, programs or schools at MIT who are the presenters of events.
The old site organized the videos this way. </ul>

<li>You can send an email to someone telling them about a specific
video of interest. </ul>

are now 4 other videos to keep in mind.</ul>

<div>As you can imagine this new site is the work of many dedicated
professionals who have worked throughout the better part of 2003 on
this effort. </div>

<div>Our partners include<b> MIT IS's Web Communication Services</b>,
who helped in assessing the needs of the audience and in recommending
the major framework for the new content management system. WCS
consultants have worked closely on every step in this process from RFP
development to vendor selection, usability and accessibility concerns,
and integrating the site into the new environment. Check them
