[Mitkc-announce] Save the Date: 2013 MIT Kerberos & Internet Trust Conference (October 7) at MIT

Folks,

The 2013 MIT Kerberos & Internet Trust Conference will be held on
Monday October 7th 2013 at MIT.  This event will be co-hosted by Prof
Sandy Pentland from the MIT Media Lab -- a world expert in the area of
personal data & privacy.

The conference theme this year is "Personal Data on the Internet".
This is a growing area/topic that puts into play all the many aspects
of security that are of interest/focus to the Consortium members
(Authentication, Authorization, Identity, Federation, Access Control,
Consent, Cloud Security, etc).

The conference on October 7th will be held at the MIT Media Lab (the
cool building architected by I. M. Pei), and will be followed by a
Social Event on the top floor of the Media Lab, with expansive views
of the Charles River & Boston city in the evening. 

Please save the date in your Calendars.


PS.  we moved the date earlier in October to minimize conflicts with
other events (eg. IETF, IIW, NSTIC, Head of Charles, etc),  and to
avoid Hurricanes :-)
