[Mitai-announce] WEDNESDAY: Albert Woodfox and Robert King of the Angola 3

The two surviving members of the Angola 3 will be speaking Wednesday at
5:30pm at Harvard.
Amnesty International played a key role in the campaign that secured their
release after decades of solitary confinement.

"Albert Woodfox and Robert King of the Angola 3 will be speaking at in the
Ames Courtroom at Austin Hall, Harvard University on March 8, 2017 at
5:30pm.

King and Woodfox were exonerated after spending decades imprisoned in
Angola Penitentiary (formerly Angola Plantation) in Louisiana. King spent
29 years in solitary confinement before his release in 2001. Woodfox spent
41 years in solitary confinement before his release in 2016. The third
member of the Angola 3, Herman Wallace, passed away in 2013 days after
being released.
