Thursday 10/15

LBGT and Islam: a Day of Dialogue

This day of dialogue event will be touching on issues related to
coming out as LBGT in a Muslim society, reconciling faith and sexuality, and the
impact on LBGT Muslims as a minority within a minority in Western countries.

**Goal: To offer educational opportunities for students to discuss
issues of LBGT and Islam, to provide exposure to these issues on campus, and to
learn from each others experiences through dialogue. We are hoping to help
affirm people's identities, build community, and offer opportunities for
personal growth, support, and the sharing of resources.
