This program starts promptly at 5:00pm with the:
Screening of some Video & Music Clips about the
Recent Iranian Peaceful Human Rights Movements.

Then we continue with a short introduction about these movements and their
directions and end with:
                       a public Discussion.

                             Summary:
Even after unprecedented recent killings, tortures, rapes, beatings, and
illegal prosecutions and imprisonments of peaceful demonstrators, Iranian
people have continued using every possible opportunity for voicing their
desire for democracy and human rights in Iran and condemning the criminal
acts of Khamenei-Ahmadinejad regime louder and clearer than ever.

For example, despite the threats expressed by Khamenei, Larijani (Head of
Judiciary), and Sepah officials, people filled the streets of major Iranian
cities on Ghods Day (Palestine Day, Sep. 18) to express their disgusts with
the regime and its policies. On Sep. 23-24, the largest assembly of Iranian
opposition groups from all over the political spectrum gathered side by side
in front of the UN in New York with a single aim of condemning the criminal
regime of Khamenei-Ahmadinejad. And finally, the students at Tehran
University protested the presence of Kamran Daneshjoo (the fraud Higher
Education minister) who was filling for Ahmadinejad.

With such admirable array of Iranian people struggle for Democracy and Human
Rights while the main concern of the US and other major European countries
is Nuclear issue and when the Khamenei-Ahmadinejad regime is eager to seek
international legitimacy by entering such negotiations, what would be the
crucial human/social responsibility of Iranian such as us for helping our
people so Democracy and Human Rights stay the front and center issue in
dealing with this criminal regime.

                                Sponsored by:
                      Boston Iranian Coalition, B.I.C.
(United front in Boston for Democracy & Human Rights in Iran)

The "Iranian Human Rights Forum" is held on the FIST Sunday of every month
at 5pm at MIT.
