Promote the Human Right to Maternal Health
Take Action Today!

Every minute, one woman dies of complications related to pregnancy or childbirth
globally. That?s more than half a million women dying every year -- and the
vast majority of those deaths are preventable. Maternal mortality, a massive
violation of the human right to health, is a crucial issue both around the
world and in the United States. Urge the Senate to acknowledge the right to
health care, and do more to combat maternal mortality. Senate Resolution 616
passed in early October, but can still add co-sponsors, demonstrating strong
support.
