She works full-</span><b class="" style="line-height: 0.17in;"><i class=""><div class="" style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: 1.2; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt; display: inline !important;"><span class="" style="vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">time as a pediatric school-based occupational therapist in a large urban school district as part of the intake team for three year olds with disabilities. She is the current Special Interest Group chair for the Massachusetts Association of Occupational Therapy (MAOT), working to bring together occupational therapy practitioners all over the state. Elizabeth is passionate about teaching and empowering students to develop clinical reasoning skills in everyday settings. As well as being an adjunct professor in multiple New England Masters’ of OT programs, in 2016 she was honored to be a member of a vocational training team for a Rotary International grant in Marrakech, Morocco, where she trained Moroccan physical therapists in the principles of occupational therapy; specifically rudimentary lymphedema principles and vision therapy. The February 2017 </span><span class="" style="font-style: italic; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">OT Practice</span><span class="" style="vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"> magazine contains an article that outlines this continuing volunteer project.
