<b>Excellence in Biomedical Sciences</b> conducted by postdoctoral fellows. The prize winner will receive a check for $50,000 and the home institution will receive an additional $5,000 to help support a seminar series. MIT has been invited to submit 2 postdoc
applications.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We are happy to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2016 IMPACT program. Based on the successful pilot run last year, the program will provide group interdisciplinary mentorship with teams from academia, medicine,
and industry, to help participants focus their research ideas and career goals.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Participants will be challenged to:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- explore and defend the real world impact of their research<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- develop the capacity to talk about their work and themselves to diverse audiences<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- increase their appreciation for different career paths, and for the mechanisms through which research progresses from lab to real world impact<o:p></o:p></p>
