              <div style="font-size: 14px;">The Regeneron Prize for
                Creative Innovation is to recognize and honor
                <b>Excellence in Biomedical Sciences</b> conducted by
                postdoctoral fellows. The prize winner will receive a
                check for $50,000 and the home institution will receive
                an additional $5,000 to help support a seminar series.
                MIT has been invited to submit 2 postdoc applications.</div>

              <div style="font-size: 14px;"><b>The Vice President for
                  Research office will be handling the internal
                  competition for postdocs ONLY.</b> The graduate
                student competition will be handled by Scott Tirrell in
                the Dean for Graduate Education office.</div>

              <div style="font-size: 14px;">Candidates MUST be nominated
                by their Department Head/Lab Director/Dean using the
                attached Nomination Form. The form must be signed.
                Please be sure to check off the Postdoctoral Fellow
                option under ‘Level of Training.’</div>
