I wanted to make you aware of an
upcoming course that may be of interest to many of the post docs
at your institution. The course, sponsored by Harvard Catalyst,
is called Maximizing the Mentee-Mentor Relationship and will
focus on the perspective of the mentee. A flier is attached and
a course description is below. Please let me know if there are
other ways to best reach out to post docs at your institution.
[Note: Since MIT is part of the Harvard Catalyst community, this
course would be free to MIT postdocs.]

clinical and translational investigators navigate the
complexities of the mentoring dynamic. Emphasizing the
perspective of the mentee, this two-day course will explore
the lifecycle of mentoring relationships through case studies,
lectures, and interactive sessions. Each session will address
critical issues such as expectations and responsibilities,
pitfalls and challenges, communication, and career
development. Participants will learn how to direct their own
mentee-mentor relationships, as well as understand the impact
these relationships can have on both personal and
