European Career Fair in Boston is the largest recruiting event
in the United States for European companies and research
institutions. It is the ideal place to discover new
opportunities for your research career. The “Research in
Germany” initiative invites students currently pursuing or
planning to pursue a graduate and post-graduate careers, and
other researchers and scientists to meet more than 40 German
universities and research institutions and discover what they

session is targeted to advanced undergraduate and graduate
students and provides information on how to look for the right
academic fit in Germany. The main focus will be on earning a
doctoral degree in Germany, although Master’s programs will be
mentioned. All disciplines are welcome. Possible funding
opportunities will be explored by experts in the field.
First-hand information about the application process and the
study experience will be provided by successful grant holders
and PhD students. </span><o:p></o:p></p>

II: Opportunities for Postdocs, Young Investigators and

well as assistant professors. It provides information on how
to get a postdoctoral position in Germany, as well as how to
set up a research team as junior faculty. Experts will talk
about different paths to a career at universities, at
non-university institutions and in industry. All disciplines
are welcome. Possible funding opportunities will be explored.
First-hand information about the application process and the
experience working in Germany will be provided by successful
