I wanted to let you know about a project out of UCSF called <a
href="http://iBiology.org">
iBiology.org</a>. iBiology (<a
href="http://www.ibiology.org/"><span style="color:blue">www.ibiology.org</span></a>)
is a growing collection of free open-access online videos by
scientists about research and discoveries in fields ranging from
ecology to biophysics, and also features short talks on topics
such as professional development, careers, policy, and
education, and a course on light microscopy. iBiology is funded
by NSF, NIGMS, and HHMI, and supported by the ASCB.</div>

live Q&A’s with speakers, and this month we’ll be
interviewing Jon Lorsch, the Director of the NIGMS. Dr. Lorsch
has a huge influence in the initiatives that the NIGMS takes
on, and is especially interested in training and biomedical
workforce and funding issues. This is a chance to ask him any
question you want and get your voices and concerns heard. </div>
