academic, medical and research institutions in the United

<div><font face="Geneva" color="#000000">A three-year fellowship is
being offered<br>
instead of the standard two-year NIH<br>
fellowships to attract a large number of<br>
highly qualified scientists into the field.</font></div>

<div><font face="Geneva" color="#000000"><b>Research Focus:</b>
Research areas of<br>
interest include but are not limited to neural<br>
pathways of feeding behavior in animal<br>
models; molecular genetic analysis of<br>
relevant neural circuit assembly and<br>
function; testing of new chemical<br>
compounds that might be used in animal<br>
models as experimental treatments; and<br>
brain imaging technologies that identify<br>
neurochemical pathways in patients with<br>
these disorders. Clinical psychotherapeutic<br>
studies, medication trials and obesity<br>
research are currently outside the scope of</font></div>
