<div>The Center for Work, Family, & Personal Life is pleased to
announce our upcoming seminar entitled<i><b> Negotiating Job
Flexibility,</b></i> led by Kathy Simons, co-manager of the MIT Center
for Work, Family, & Personal Life, and Barbara Peacock-Coady,
manager of Career Planning @ MIT.<br>

This workshop will provide an introduction to flexible work schedule
arrangements, including job sharing, telecommuting, flexible
schedules, leaves, and part-time work. Participants will be offered a
summary of MIT policies and resources and a format for developing a
workable flex-time or flex-leave proposal.<br>
<br>
The seminar will be held on<b> Friday, October 29, 2004,</b> from
12:00 noon to 1:30 PM, in the Center conference room, Room 16-151.
The seminar is open to all members of the MIT community, free of
charge.<br>
