Hi Habitat!<div><br></div><div>I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for a fantastic and productive year. The club has accomplished a great deal this year; we hosted a fall and spring Beaver Dash (with nearly 300 participants this spring--the largest ever!!), sent 9 students on a Spring Break trip to Melbourne, FL, built and donated a beautiful Adirondack chair to a local Habitat home during our Campus Build event over CPW, and continued our bimonthly build days with our affiliates in Peabody, Lynn, and Lawrence, MA.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I am a graduating senior, so writing this email is quite bittersweet for me. I've crossed paths with many of you over the course of my involvement with Habitat, and would like thank each and every one of you for making Habitat such a meaningful and special part of my MIT undergraduate career. I sincerely hope that all of you have enjoyed being part of our community and will continue to carry out Habitat's mission of eliminating the global poverty housing crisis.</div>
<div><br></div><div>At this point, I'd like to take a moment to introduce and recognize Habitat's incoming President: Josh Zeidman '14. I promise this selection was not based on some form of Josh-nepotism, and on the plus side, you can keep addressing your emails to Josh! In all seriousness, Josh has done an outstanding job as the club's Build Day Coordinator this year and has already taken over most of the club responsibilities. I have full confidence that the club will be in terrific hands, and look forward to hearing about its continued growth over the coming years!!</div>
<div><br></div><div>Many thanks again, and best of luck with finals! Best wishes for a great summer!!</div><div><br></div><div>Warm regards,</div><div>Josh</div>
