Hi Elyse and Habitat for Humanity officers:<br><br>
It seems that Home Depot made its delivery on Saturday to MIT's campus

despite the fact that the Campus Build event had been cancelled earlier
in <br>
the week due to the weather forecast. It came to my attention this
morning <br>
that there are building materials blocking a sidewalk by Kresge
Auditorium, <br>
and MIT's Facilities Department wanted to know what to do with
them. We <br>
asked them to give us until the end of the day to get in touch with you
so <br>
that your group wouldn't be out money if the supplies could, in fact, be
<br>
returned to Home Depot.<br><br>
The supplies can not stay where they are and we are trying to stay in the
<br>
good graces of Facilities such that they do not decide to charge for the
<br>
removal of the lumber!<br><br>
Please get back to me ASAP with a decision on what you want to do with
the <br>
materials. Will Home Depot take them back at no charge? Can
they be <br>
donated someplace (note: MIT will not deliver them)? Can we just
get rid <br>
of them entirely?<br><br>
