Dear Student Group,

We are
pleased to announce that this year's Graduate Student Volunteer Day
(GSVD) will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2004.
Since your group has hosted a volunteer site activity in the past, we are
especially looking forward to your participation again this year!

We are
currently recruiting graduate student group leaders to organize and lead
a mix of 10-15 students from your group, new students, and other students
interested in your volunteer activity. As you know, this event is a
great opportunity to introduce new students to your organization, make
new friends, and make a difference in our community.

If you
are interested in getting your group involved in this year's GSVD and
planning a volunteer site activity, please let us know of your interest
at gsvd@mit.edu and plan to attend a
group leader meeting next Tuesday, June 29, at 7pm in the GSC office,
50-220. Dinner will be provided. At this meeting, we will
give you more details on how easy it is to lead a volunteer site.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at
gsvd@mit.edu. Thanks and we hope
you are looking forward to a fantastic GSVD V!
