Information regarding these features and many more can be found on Apple's <a href="http://www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/">iOS 6 page</a>. </div><div><br></div><div><div>iOS 6 is compatible with the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, 4th- and 5th-generation iPod touch, and both the iPad 2 and the new iPad (3rd-generation). </div><div><br></div><div>To update your compatible iOS device, go to Settings, select General, and then select Software Update. IS&T recommends <a href="http://kb.mit.edu/confluence/x/24V_/">connecting to Wi-Fi</a> prior to download, otherwise the download will count against your monthly data limit, if one exists. The iOS 6 update is also available to compatible iOS devices via iTunes: plug your iOS device into your machine via the USB cable, select your iOS device under Devices, and then click Check for Update. </div></div><div><br></div><div><b>Support</b></div><div>The IS&T certificate renewal page has been updated to support iOS 6. If you have already installed iOS 6 or purchased a new iOS 6 device, launch Safari on your iOS device and go to <a href="https://ca.mit.edu/ca/">https://ca.mit.edu/ca/</a> to obtain a new MIT root and personal certificates.
