<p class="MsoNormal">Information Services & Technology (IS&T) has updated the Student Virtual Machine (VM) we provide preloaded with Windows 7 SP1, security updates, and bundles of software for students at MIT. The Student VM is part of the generalized Windows
7 VMs IS&T provides the MIT community each year.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The student VM is designed to be used on Windows or Macintosh host machines, but an extra step is required to configure the full features on Windows.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Download and Setup</b><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">You can download the VM, set your username and password, and access student-focused Windows software without needing to install Windows or the included applications. <o:p></o:p></p>
