<p class="MsoPlainText">Information Services & Technology (IS&T) has updated the Virtual Machines (VMs) we provide preloaded with Windows 7 SP1, security updates and bundles of software for different segments of the MIT community.

<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">There are two flavors, one for administrative staff and one for students. The administrative staff VM is supported only on Macintosh host machines as a way to access Windows-only software. The student VM is designed to be used on Windows
or Macintosh host machines, but an extra step is required to configure the full features on Windows.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><b>Download and Setup<o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">You can download the VM and set your username, password and access administrative- or student-focused Windows software without needing to install Windows or the included applications.
