While we are in the process of setting things to get PDFs from the start of the process, as an interim measure I am looking to get a scanner to handle about 6-8000 pages over the course of couple-few weeks, 20-25 pages at a time. Direct to text searchable PDF is also a very important feature</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>My current research shows a great many available in the $500-1000 range, but most seem to be Windows only.
