<HTML><BODY style="word-wrap: break-word; -khtml-nbsp-mode: space; -khtml-line-break: after-white-space; ">I'm trying to connect from a new MacBookPro to a Deskjet printer shared by a windows XP machine. The first problem is the printer does not show up when I go to Windows Printing -> my domain -> Win machine name.<DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>Also I noticed on an iMac in our office that the same printer shows up in the Printer default browser window and the connection type is Open Directory.</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>On the MacBookPro I don't get any listings in the Printer Browser for Open Directory connection type.</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>I've checked all of the Directory access settings and they are the same on both machines.
