MIT received site licensed upgrades for Dreamweaver MX 2004 (version
7) in early October. The Dreamweaver MX Release Team has begun
the effort to deliver the standalone product Dreamweaver MX 2004; not
the full Studio MX suite. The team has begun testing the product for
compatibility within the MIT environment with the goal of establishing
a support statement, preparing documentation and making the software
available to the MIT community later this fall.</font><br>
<font face="Verdana" color="#000000"></font></div>
<div><font face="Verdana" color="#000000">IS does not recommend that
MIT users upgrade to Dreamweaver MX 2004 until the team has had a
chance to fully evaluate it. Even if the software proves fit for MIT,
note that the software has higher system requirements than previous
versions of the product and will not work on versions of the Mac OS
prior to 10.2.6.<br>

Please note that if you have Dreamweaver MX 2004 installed on a
version of Mac OS X 10.2, then use the Archive and Install option to
upgrade to Mac OS X 10.3, Dreamweaver may not launch. Macromedia has
published a fix for this problem at
