[Macpartners] No email alerts in ML server

Has anyone run into the problem of not receiving server alerts at an MIT email address from an OS X server running either Lion or Mountain Lion?  I know I certainly have.  I can confirm that the alerts are being sent, as they are received by my gmail account, but never by my MIT email address (it is set up to send to both as a test).  Is there some trick to this that I'm missing?
