[Macpartners] IS&T recommendation on Firefox 3

Good afternoon:

Firefox 3 was released to the general public on June 17, 2008.  It is  
currently only available as a standalone installer and will not be  
available as an automatic download for some time.  IS&T recommends not  
upgrading to Firefox 3 at this time so business process owners and  
website maintainers across the Institute have fully tested and  
documented any potential issues that could affect secure web sites,  
services and products.  Please feel free to share this with other  
colleagues in your area.

An updated communication will be sent once testing has been completed  
which will determine the level of support to be provided.  If you have
