[Macpartners] redirecting a stream to the speech service

Has anyone figured out how to redirect a stream,
from the command line (shell) to the speech service ??

... this would be ~like the "open" command from the shell.

The applications would be many especially for tools such as emacs.
For example, one could send a buffer, a region, etc. 
to the speech service with a single keystroke.
