position at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, beginning August, 2022.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>This individual will be a founding faculty member of the newly launched major in supply chain management, created in coordination with Nashville, TN industry leaders.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>As such, it is an exciting opportunity to build a new program in one of the most vibrant metro areas in the United States, including a variety of global and regional headquarters with global supply chain initiatives.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>This major will also interface with a campus-level program to provide advanced analytics to Belmont students and to the surrounding community, further enhancing the skills needed for future supply chain leaders.<o:p> </o:p></span></p>

courses in aspects of the Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and Return of supply chain management.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>The areas of specialization/certification that will be given preference for this position are in Logistics and Transportation, Supply Chain Analytics, Demand Planning, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, and/or Sourcing and Supply Management.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>Background and ability to teach Healthcare-Supply Chain Management courses
<span style="color:black">will be looked upon quite favorably, as will industry experience in supply chain management. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a well-developed research agenda with promise of publishing in high quality, peer reviewed supply
chain management journals.</span><span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>An interest and/or experience in engaging students in undergraduate research will be considered favorably, as will teaching experience at the university level. Finally, this position
includes a significant external-facing role that requires the ability to effectively build partnerships with industry.<span style="color:black"><o:p> </o:p></span></span></p>
