Title and compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience and credentials.</p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 10px; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: "Open Sans", "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-variant-ligatures: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; text-decoration-thickness: initial;" class="">The candidate is expected to teach classes in operations and supply chain, management, and lead practicum teams through the <a href="https://scm.ncsu.edu/" class="">Supply Chain Resource Cooperative</a> (<a href="http://scm.ncsu.edu" class="">scm.ncsu.edu</a>). Supply Chain courses include the undergraduate introductory Operations and Supply Chain course and the concentration courses in Operations Modeling and Analysis, Operations Planning and Control Systems, Logistics Management, and Purchasing and Supply Management. Practicum courses include undergraduate and <span class="caps" style="box-sizing: border-box;">MBA</span> level 3-credit practicum classes. Courses are delivered both online, through practicum team meetings, and in a traditional classroom setting. The ideal candidate will have undergraduate teaching experience and a strong background in applied business environments featuring operations and supply chain management. The teaching load is three to four sections per semester. Lecturer typically teaches 4 class sections (12 credit hours) per semester.
