responsibilities as Director of the Moyes Center for Supply Chain Excellence)</span> </div><div><br></div>The John B. Goddard School of Business and Economics at Weber State University is hiring for one 9-month, tenure-track position in Supply Chain Management at the associate/full professor rank. Employment starting date is July 1, 2020 or as mutually agreed. Depending on qualifications and applicant aspirations, teaching responsibilities may be at the undergraduate and MBA levels. <br><br>The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to teach and do research in supply chain management, with specialization in at least some of the following areas:<br>• purchasing and supply management<br>• contract management<br>• logistics management<br>• transportation<br>• distribution and warehousing<br>• negotiations, change management, and soft skills<br>• supply chain strategy<br>• global supply chain management<br>• supply chain risk management<br>• supply chain analytics<br>• supply chain information technologies<br>• ERP/planning and control systems, and/or<br>• aerospace, healthcare, outdoor recreation, logistics services, or other industry interests/expertise<br><br>Furthermore, the candidate will have commitment to experiential learning pedagogy and to service for program development and engagement with industry stakeholders. <br><br>Of particular interest are candidates with desire and ability to serve as Director of the Jerry & Vickie Moyes Center for Supply Chain Excellence, which supports student learning, faculty vitality, and engagement with supply chain industry stakeholders in the region.<div><br>A 3/3 teaching load is standard for academically qualified faculty. For the center director position, reduced teaching load and/or modified research expectations may be possible as mutually agreed. discipline, is required for a full-time, tenure-track position (visiting
