<div class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12px; line-height:normal">flourish in the face of unforeseen disruptions and risks, including infrastructure failures, natural</div>
<div class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12px; line-height:normal">hazards, material shortages, economic fluctuations, and political conflicts. A risk and</div>
<div class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12px; line-height:normal">resilience perspective requires consideration of the entire human food chain, from sustainable</div>
<div class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12px; line-height:normal">production, processing, and manufacturing through distribution, consumption, waste</div>
<div class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12px; line-height:normal">management and recycling.</div>

<div class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12px; line-height:normal">however, they will be expected to develop a stream of research on food supply chains in</div>
<div class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12px; line-height:normal">collaboration with faculty associated with the InFACT Discovery Theme as part of their research</div>
<div class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12px; line-height:normal">portfolio. Considering the cross-disciplinary requirements of the position, preferred candidates at</div>
<div class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12px; line-height:normal">the Assistant rank would have prior post-Ph.D. academic experience. Among the unique</div>

<div class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12px; line-height:normal">related field prior to the employment start date, with prior academic experience strongly</div>
<div class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12px; line-height:normal">preferred. Evidence of productivity and excellence in research, teaching and public engagement</div>
<div class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12px; line-height:normal">is required. All applicants are expected to maintain strong research programs, to participate in</div>
<div class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12px; line-height:normal">high impact public engagement efforts, and to contribute to both graduate and undergraduate</div>
