[Linerva-announce] Linerva outage yesterday

Just for your information:

  Linerva crashed yesterday at approximately 10:30 p.m. 
apparently due to a problem with OpenAFS.  The machine was 
rebooted, and service returned around 11:30 p.m.

announcement yet, and figured people would want to know ASAP 
in order to restart their long-running programs and such)
