<html><head></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">I am wondering if the alarm is the one inside the unit, as opposed to the building's system. My smoke detector alarm went a little nuts a few months back, and so I had to disconnect it. I've been meaning to put it back on to see if it still malfunctions. If Chris's unit has a problem alarm, too, we could try to get both of them serviced at the same time.<div><br><div>

<div style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial;">Does anyone have an idea as to why there have been short, spontaneous alarms going off in the building lately? Valerie and I don't know what that is, but when one or both of us is home and that happens it's very LOUD and jolting.<br>
<br>This has been happening for several weeks, on average about once a day - sometimes during daylight hours, other times in the evening. Whatever it is, we'd really like it to stop. Do we need someone to inspect the alarm systems?<br>
