<h4>DJERASSI/LEONARDO 2014 ART/SCIENCE RESIDENCY SELECTION</h4>

During the course of the residency, forward-thinking choreographers, composers, writers and visual artists will work closely with distinguished physicists, biologists and industrial engineers to <strong>explore and transform the boundaries of art and science</strong>. <h4>CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: LEONARDO ABSTRACT SERVICES</h4>
The Leonardo Abstracts Service (LABS) is a comprehensive database of Ph.D., Masters and MFA thesis abstracts on the intersection of art, science and technology. Individuals receiving advanced degrees in disciplines that investigate philosophical, historical or critical applications of science or technology to the arts are invited to submit abstracts of their theses for consideration. Selected abstracts are published in Leonardo Electronic Almanac. Authors of most highly ranked abstracts are invited to submit an article for publication in <em>Leonardo</em>. <h4>THE SOUND OF LIGHT AND THE INVISIBLE: IMÉRA </h4>
The Institute of Advanced Aix-Marseille University Studies (IMéRA) invites you to “Le son de la lumière et l’invisible” (“The Sound of Light and of the Invisible”), a seminar presenting research in the field of auditory perception data and non-acoustic phenomena and the sonification of visual data. <h4>CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: SOUND DEVELOPMENT CITY</h4>
Each year, Sound Development City sends 10 artists on a three-week-long expedition between two European cities, where they can work on individual projects, explore new cities, cultures and different living environments, and establish new connections. Sound Development City is now seeking projects that engage with this year’s theme: Mind the Gap!
